15 Movies NBA Network Should Air During Lockout

The 2011-2012 NBA season was supposed to kick off last week. But, there’s that little lockout that prevented the season from beginning anytime soon.

While I doubt that the owners and players are in any serious threats of losing everything that they own, a lot of people are in trouble, like employees at arenas that work basketball games. However, there’s a less obvious entity that’s suffering from the lockout. The NBA Network.

Since there isn’t a season to discuss and analyze, the network has had to fill some time-slots with other programming, like classic games. But, they need more time to fill. So, they’ve been airing Teen Wolf. Yes, the 1985 Michael J. Fox flick.

While we love us some Teen Wolf, there are many other basketball films that could be airing. And, if the lockout drags on any longer, the network is going to have to find some more basketball related films to entice viewers. Here’s fifteen movies that the NBA Network should show during the lockout.

15. Eddie (1996)

14. The Sixth Man (1997)

13. Like Mike (2002)

12. Heaven is a Playground (1991)
