The Valiant Queen of Narnia: Georgie Henley

Georgie Henley is an English Teen Actress, known for her performance as Lucy Pevensie, one of the Pevensie’s siblings in the film series The Chronicles of Narnia, where she performed as the youngest.

Georgie was born on July 9, 1995 in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, England and she has two older sisters, Rachael Henley and Laura Henley. Georgie’s beloved parents are Helen and Mike Henley. In fact, Georgie’s older sister Rachael played the older version of her as Lucy Pevensie in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

As for Georgie’s personal life, she’s currently living in IIkley, West Yorkshire, where she’s a member of the Ilkley Upstagers’ Theatre Group, and attends Bradford Grammar School. Also, she’s a supporter of SOS Children’s Villages, an international orphan charity providing homes and mothers for orphaned and abandoned children.

In 2005, Georgie won the Best Performance by a Youth in a Lead or Supporting Role — Female for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Georgie also appeared as the young Jane Eyre in the 2006 BBC adaptation of Jane Eyre.
