The Beautiful Lea Michele

Lea Michele Sarfati professionally known as Lea Michele was born on August 29, 1986. Lea was born in the land of Bronx, New York City. She is the daughter of Edith, a nurse, and Marc Sarfati, a delicatessen owner. Lea’s mother Edith is Italian American and Roman Catholic, while her father Marc is a Spanish-Sephardic Jew. Lea was raised around “both” of her parents’ religions. She grew up in New York City and Tenafly, New Jersey.

Lea reached the popularity where she plays the star singer of a high school glee club, as Rachel Berry in the Fox television series Glee. Along with Dianna Agron, Jonathan Groff, Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Chris Colfer, and Jenna Ushkowitz. Friends with Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Idina Menzel, Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison.

Lea is a fan of pop singer Kylie Minogue, she has 10 tattoos. Lea loves record players and enjoys baking in her spare time. Lea is very active in participating in charities for Gay Rights and Animal Rights. Her favorite novel is “Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Tracy Chevalier. Lea’s trademarks are her singing voice, her noise, and her smile. Lea is of Spanish and Italian descent. She has two cats, Claude and Sheila, she named them after characters from the musical Hair.

Lea was home schooled one year while working in Toronto, Ontario on Ragtime. She attended Rockland Country Day School for elementary school in New York and then Tenafly High School. Lea attended Stagedoor Manor in the Catskills, a center for performing arts training. She was then later accepted to the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, but she participates instead to continue working professionally on the stage.
