Apple iPad 3 – Heading to 25 More Countries

A week after Apple released its new iPad to the US and nine other countries, people from 25 more locations will be able to get their hands on the latest tablet. Today, March 23, the Cupertino-based company will roll out their newest iOS device in the following countries:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Among the listed country, New Zealand was one of the first to go on sale and offer Apple’s new iPad to their queue of buyers.

Apple’s new iPad: Under the Hood

The new iPad features stunning Retina Display, the new A5X chip with quad-core graphics and 5 megapixel iSight camera. The tablet’s camera feature has advanced optics that capture amazing images and 1080p high-definition video. It also boasts a ten-hour battery life, but it will vary depending on the device’s settings, usage and other factors.

Other than the Wi-Fi connection, Apple’s new iPad also has a Wi-Fi + 4G model that supports ultrafast 4G LTE networks. Meanwhile, its 3G connection is available to all users around the world, including those based on HSPA + and DC-HSPA. It will also come in with iOS 5.1 and iTunes 10.6 as free softwares.

According to the company’s press release, every customer that will purchase the latest tablet at an Apple Retail Store can have free Personal Setup service. It will allow them to customize their iPad by setting up email, adding new apps from the App Store and more.

Availability and Price    

Apple’s latest tablet comes in black or white color and 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models. Each model will cost $499, $599 and $699 respectively for the Wi-Fi-only unit. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi + 4G unit will carry a suggested retail price of $629, $729 and $829 for each model.

Meanwhile, the iPad 2 will continue to go on sale at an affordable price of $399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi-only unit and $529 for the 16GB Wi-Fi + 4G model. The new iPad will be available through Apple’s online store, retail store and authorized resellers. Data plans are sold separately.

If you don’t want to visit a retail store and stand in a long line of customers, you can always order online. However, you have to wait for one to two weeks due to delivery delays.
