The New Colorways of Nike SB Blazer

Welcome to the new colorways of the Nike SB Blazer! An instant classic you won’t want to miss out on. This shoe has so much raw street style; you don’t even need to be a skateboarder to pull them off. Nike first started making skateboard shoes in 1997 with little to no success. Other shoe companies such as DC, Globe and Vans were dominating the market.

Skateboarders were not ready to accept Nike as a skateboard brand until 2002, when the first “Dunk Lows” were released. Since, Nike has added such names as Paul Rodriguez, Eric Koston and Lance Mountain to their team and by doing so establishing themselves as a serious skateboard brand. Nike has been making quality shoes longer than most of us have been alive, so it’s no surprise to see their Nike SB line putting out some of their most stylish items to date.

The Nike SB Blazer comes in both a high and low top color series (though most view the high top as the better looking.) Because this shoe is built for skateboarding, the comfort is top notch with added heel and arch support. If you plan on skateboarding in the Nike SB Blazer, an added Ollie area reinforcement and lace protection is included for durability and daily wear and tear. Bottom line: this shoe is built to last.

The best thing about Nike Skateboard shoes is how stylish they are. At first look it doesn’t even look like a skateboard shoe and why they are so popular with everyone from all different walks of life. Nike is known for this. The Nike SB Blazer comes in a very large range of colorways, including: Quasar Purple/Black, Rift Blue/Classic Charcoal, Midnight Fog/Birch, Classic Black/White, Black/Team Red, and the newest – Classic Charcoal (pictured at top.) This shoe has already become a team favorite for not only skateboarding, but a top pick for nights out on the town.

The only complaint found is to not wear ankle socks with the high top series because apparently the material can be uncomfortable against the skin for long periods of time (though this will vary from person to person.) Customers love how easily the shoe breaks in to your foot, the huge variety of colorways and the added heel support. This model has a very long lasting sole as well and these reviews are coming from customers who are skateboarding in this shoe daily. That says a lot to how strong this shoe is.
