LG Miracle with Telus Branding in the Wild

Mobile phone news website PocketNow posted an image of the rumored LG Miracle, indicating that the device also carries a branding of the Canadian telecommunication company Telus. Previously dubbed as LG Fantasy, the site’s source tipped that the handset is carrying an E704H moniker.

This contradicts the online publication’s previous claim that LG Fantasy will carry an E950 codename. Simply put, LG Fantasy and Miracle are different Windows Phone units. In addition, the LG device that made an appearance in Romania prior to Mobile World Congress event last February has a model name of E704. So it’s yet to be known whether it’s the moniker with the H that is the “real” LG Fantasy or it’s the other one.

Inside LG Fantasy

Other than the Telus branding and the fact that LG made the handset to run on Windows Phone, LG Fantasy is also expected to sport the following features:

  • Four-inch WVGA NOVA display
  • 1 GHz Snapdragon processor
  • 8 GB of storage
  • Five-megapixel rear camera without flash
  • VGA Webcam
  • HSPA radio
  • Wi-Fi a/b/g/n with 5 GHz compatibility
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • 1500 mAh battery
  • Near Field Communication chip
  • Windows Phone 7.5 Mango

As for its Telus, it’s yet to be known whether it’ll be a carrier variant or just a twist in design that the manufacturer plans to pull before the handset hits the market. The LG Fantasy, on the other hand, made a recent appearance on the Romanian industry website Mobilissimo. However, no features of the said handset have been disclosed.

LG Miracle for Sprint

The report came in shortly after Federal Communications Commission released an LG Miracle device that is bound for Sprint. The 9 mm thick mobile phone was labeled LG LS831, and made its first appearance on the commission’s website last October 2011.

A draft of a user manual that only discusses the basic handling of Windows Phone was also unveiled recently. Other than that, the details given were rather thin such as the 5-megapixel camera, front-facing camera and a microUSB slot hidden somewhere inside the handset. However, there were rumors that the Kansas-based carrier won’t release another Windows Phone device, unless Microsoft releases its Windows Phone 8.

It’s apparent that there’s no concrete information with regards to LG Miracle. Considering that the 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and 4-inch WVGA NOVA display is already set on stone, the rest of features still remain hanging until LG made an official announcement.
