Zipcar Adds Honda Insight to its Lineup and More

Thus, the car manufacturer also revealed that they will expand a number of their units available through the car sharing service.

The Honda-Zipcar Deal

Meet the Insight, Fit EV and Accord Plug-in

The Honda Insight hybrid is a five-passenger hybrid car that offers a sleek and aerodynamically styled look. It also features an improved fuel economy.

On the other hand, the Fit EV, which will be introduced this fall as a 2013 model, is based on its popular Fit hatchback. It boasts a 123 city-mile per charge, and it can fully recharge for as little as three hours when connected to a 240-volt circuit.

Lastly, the 2013 Honda Accord Plug-in is a plug-in hybrid electric version of the Accord Sedan. It uses an all-new two-motor hybrid system that continuously moves through three different modes: All electric, gasoline electric, ad direct drive. These modes will maximize driving and fuel efficiency, especially in city driving.
