Parts supplier website SW-Box posted another component of Apple’s next-generation iPhone this weekend. It appears that the recent components making an appearance are a headphone jack and earpiece. However, the parts are suggesting a different internal design, as the headphone jack is attached to the earpiece and Wi-Fi components.

Claiming to be compatible with “iPhone 5,” the components’ design is a major departure from iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S’ outline. In addition, the website posted that the component is available for $7.71.

Rumored Next-gen iPhone Components Everywhere

This is not the first time that SW-Box posted a rumored next-gen iPhone component. A couple of weeks ago, they also posted a SIM tray that will be used for the upcoming Apple handset. The component has a subtle difference compared with the tray found in iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

Labeled as an “iPhone 5 SIM Card Tray Holder Slot,” it has a slight tapering metal frame piece and extra metal shelf. In addition, pictures of a new home button for the said mobile device also emerged online. It was suggested that the component will look the same, although it will have an internal redesign.

Furthermore, there were claims that Apple is planning to replace its next-generation iPhone’s glass back panel with liquidmetal alloy. There were also reports that the device will feature an in-cell touch panel technology, which will make a thinner handset possible.

The upcoming Apple handset will have a curved back, although the liquidmetal back suggests that it will be flat. It is also said that the mobile device will not use the micro-SIM standard that they’ve proposed, after a vote on standard by European Telecommunications Standards Institute was postponed. Apple’s next-generation iPhone was also rumored to sport 4G LTE radio, as it is said to carry Qualcomm’s MDM9615 LTE chip.

Reviewing Potential Components for Next-gen iPhone

The emerging photos of next-gen iPhone’s mobile parts suggest that Apple is reviewing potential components for the device. Expected to be released this fall, the company is allegedly in the midst of testing and evaluating parts for their upcoming handset submitted by suppliers for potential use.

The upcoming Apple mobile phone is expected to become a “world” device, which can support voice and data connections and will be compatible with various LTE market. In addition, the handset is set to be available around October of this year. That will be a year after iPhone 4S was made available to the public.
