Nissan will be updating its small JUKE crossover for 2013. The 2013 Nissan JUKE will come in new colors, new appearance package, as well as new safety and infotainment systems.

What’s New with 2013 Nissan JUKE?

Compared to its predecessor, the upcoming crossover will feature the Midnight Edition package. For $1,200, the package will feature 17-inch black wheels, black rear-proof spoiler, and black mirror caps. It will be available this September, and it could save buyers $500 over the cost of options that are bought individually.

As stated by Al Castignetti, Nissan’s vice president and general manager at the North America division:

The Midnight Edition JUKE stands out by its subtlety. The combination of black-on-black-on-black wheels, spoiler and mirrors gives JUKE a dramatic new look, which we think enhances its already bold styling. We expect it to be a very popular addition to the JUKE lineup for 2013.

The car will also come in three new colors: atomic gold, brilliant silver, and pearl white. These new colors will join the vehicle’s existing color palette, which includes electric blue and cayenne red.

Furthermore, the 2013 Nissan JUKE will also feature a Navigation Package with rear-view camera and revised Rockford Fosgate audio system. However, the package will only be available on all SV models, while the SL units will have the premium audio standard.

Meanwhile, the 1.6-liter turbocharged, direct-injected four-cylinder will continue to power the 2013 Nissan JUKE. This will give the car 188 horsepower and 177 pound-foot of torque. That power is either routed on the front wheels or on all four via continuously variable transmission or six-speed manual.

The vehicle will also have the Integrated Control System, or I-CON, which combines air-conditioning and driving mode control with a knob on the center console. In addition, the 2013 Nissan JUKE will come in three driving modes: normal, sport, and eco. It will also maintain the car’s three trim levels: the S, SV, and SL.

Interior, Pricing, and Availability

The JUKE’s interior is also aggressive with bolstered front seats, wide instrument panel, and unique center console inspired by a motorcycle fuel tank. It is also finished in high-gloss paint.

There are no reports yet as to how much the car will cost, but a pricing detail is expected to become available as the car’s launch date in September draws near. Nevertheless, the 2013 Nissan JUKE will be a bit less than the twin-turbocharged JUKE-R.

Nissan’s upcoming crossover will be available next month at Nissan dealers nationwide.
