Michael Clarke Duncan

Michael Clarke Duncan, one of Hollywood’s most imposing and intriguing actors, has passed away on Monday at the age of 54.

Known for his massive 6-foot-5 frame and unmistakable deep voice, Michael Clarke Duncan stared in a variety of roles that not many actors can pull off. He could seemingly pull off any character, whether it was for a serious, comedic, or action performance flawlessly. Furthermore, his signature voice allowed him to be the voice for countless video games and animated series or films.

Despite being known as a movie star, he actually got his start in television on shows like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Married With Children. More recently, he was featured in the Fox series The Finder, which was cancelled in May.

As of now, there is no official cause of death for the Chicago native. However, the actor did have a heart attack back on July 13. It’s believed the he never fully recovered from the incident. Regardless of the cause, it’s a sad day for the entertainment industry. So let’s remember Michael Clarke Duncan for what he was known for and had aspired to do: acting.
