According to reports, Ford is planning to export its Mustang to Europe. There’s even a high chance that it will be the next generation of famous pony car that is due within a couple of years. In relation to this, there were claims that the car manufacturer will sell redesigned compact and full-sized vans in the United States by 2014.

Ford unveiled a lightly restyled Fiesta, as well as its high-performance ST models that will land in the European market later this year. It is more likely that the restyling will also become available in the United States, although the company is not yet confirming whether the Fiesta ST will be included in the list.

The car manufacturer is planning to reveal further details about the U.S. Fiesta before the year ends. On the other hand, Ford CEO Alan Mullaly said that Europeans will get the five-seat Edge crossover from the U.S. product lineup.

These product announcements were part of yesterday’s big show for the automaker’s European dealers and customers. It will be launching a new-product offensive in Europe to counteract sales drop in financial losses due to weak economy. Listed below are the Ford vehicles that the European market should expect:

Transit Van

Ford will roll out a redesigned, full-size Transit Van, which will also replace the Ecoline van in the United States. It will go on sale in Europe about a year from now, and it will be available in the states a few months later.

Transit Connect Van

The car manufacturer also redesigned its small Transit Connect van, which will have a European debut in fall 2013. It will be followed by a U.S. launch a few months later.

The company’s B-segment Fiesta will get a new grille this fall, which will resemble the look of Taurus and new Fusion (known in Europe as Mondeo). It will have a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder EcoBoost engine under the hood, which can produce either 99 or 123 hp. Meanwhile, the Fiesta ST will go on sale in early 2013 in Europe.

The Mondeo will also get a revamp, which will be a near carbon copy of the new Fusion in the United States. However, the Europeans can choose between wagon and five-door body styles. It also comes with diesel engines, all-wheel drive system, and hybrid version, although it won’t be a plug-in.

Eco Sport

Ford will also sell the B-segment crossover in Europe, which will become available by the end of 2013.
