Last Thursday, Sid Shuman posted their latest PlayStation Blogcast, which features five new game developer interviews. This week’s episode involves indie developer Matt Gilgenbach, discussing how his new PSN-exclusive “reverse shooter” Retro/Grade changed his life. The blogcast also talked about Snapshot, the PS3 and PS Vita platform puzzler that allows gamers to manipulate their environment with the use of photographs.

It also featured Chris Harvey and Graham Smith of Drinkbox Studios, who discussed about their plans for cross-controller support on their upcoming PS3 and PS Vita title, Guacamelee. Also in the blogcast is Tore Blystad, game director for Hitman: Absolution, who shared some secrets for their newly announced Contracts multiplayer mode.

The Walking Dead: Episode 3 was also discussed, along with Telltale game designers Jake Rodkin, Sean Vanaman, Harrison Pink, and Eric Parsons. They described the challenges they faced during the creation of the episodic game, the most-loved game characters, and how they managed to stay true with Robert Kirkman’s grim vision.

Also from Sony Computer Entertainment Japan came Brad Douglas as its special guest. Yesterday’s blogcast also features an onslaught of PlayStation Queries and tips to vex new Mystery Theme. It also discussed the usual niceties, like next week’s PlayStation Store game lineup. Sony will update its PlayStation Store on Tuesday, September 11.
