Allison Pill Tweets Nude Photo

You would think that celebrities would be careful nowadays when taking suggestive, risque, or nude photos of themselves. After all, it only takes a second to send that kind of picture to the world, whether by accident or by the acts of a hacker. Unfortunately for actress Alison Pill, she just found out the hard way.

The Canadian native, who plays producer Maggie Jordan on HBO’s fantastic new series The Newsroom, accidentally Tweeted a topless picture of herself to her more than 14,000 Twitter followers. Pill was immediately aware of the mistake and deleted the photo, but as we all know by now, nothing is really deleted off the Internet.

At least the 26-year-old actress, who’s been in movies such as Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and Goon, has a sense of humor about the whole mistake by Tweeting:

Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet… Apologies.

Even her fiance, actor Jay Baruchel, had some fun with the Tweet. His own Tweet stated:

My fiancee is an hilarious dork,” and later, “Smartphones will get ya.”

In case you’re curious, the pic is indeed out there (if you want to check it for yourself). It features Pill sprawled out on a bed wearing nothing more than a grin and a pair of thick-framed glasses, and while not the hottest accidental pic out there, it’s still nice. She has nothing to be ashamed about—except a bit of humiliation, but we think that she and Baruchel have a good laugh about it. Besides, she did a topless back in 2004 in the film Dear Wendy.
