Yesterday, 505 Games announced that the new Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise is now available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game is a sequel to the 2010’s under-appreciated Naughty Bear title. Thus, the new game marks the return of every player’s favorite anti-hero.

Game Features and Synopsis

All the bears from the first game made a trip from Perfection Island to Paradise Island for the holidays, leaving their neighbor Naughty Bear behind. Because of that, the main character angrily straps himself with duct tape to the bottom of the bus and tags along with them unknowingly.

In Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise, Naughty will be tracking down his hit list of bears across 11 all-new and expanded locations. The setting will make use of the character’s brand new combat system, special attacks, and ultra kills. As Michael J. Fax stated on his review at This Is Fake DIY:

It’s a case of revenge served cold as you sulk, stalk, and deceive your way around various holiday locations to tear those ted limbs from limbs! Literally!

In case you wonder my Naughty is doing it, the game’s official website has an answer for it:

Naughty Bear was a nice bear, but then the other bears were mean. None of this was his fault but now everyone has to pay.

Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise requires a player to take a particular bear in each of the 36 themed-location in the game. The game’s various settings feature holiday resorts, fancy dress parties, bizarre environment that is similar to Area 51, and many more. This also means that there will be a handful of ways to kill a bear.

It will also be supported by 12 downloadable contents, which will become available for the next three months. Every update will offer various new weapons, ultra kills, and character costumes that are inspired by Hollywood villains and heroes. Simply put, the threat of Naughty Bear won’t subside after launch.

The game enables players to build their own Paradise Island Chainsaw Massacre, make every day Friday the 13th as Jason Pawhees, and become the only naughty bear that can wield the mighty Mjolnpaw Hammer.

Owners of Xbox 360 can avail 505 Game’s Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise for 1,200 Microsoft Points in Xbox LIVE Arcade. PS3 users can also have the game for 14 euros or around $19 on the PlayStation Network.
