Prior to the release of the game, Microsoft launched an interactive guide for Halo 4. The guide looks like a monitor from a Halo 4 warrior’s point of view. It shows an environment of still images, which turns out to be navigation icons.

Interactive Guide Features

Aside from its awesome graphics and sleek design, the interactive guide features eight navigations.

There is the Vehicles section that shows the vehicles designed by the Covenant and by the United Nations Space Command. Story, on the other hand, shows Halo 4’s primer, characters and locations. There is also a list of enemies that were battled in the Covenant, or during the events of Halo 4, as well as the Promethean opponents.

For those who want to know the various game modes, career, customization option, and settings of the game, the Basics section could be helpful. As for the War Games section, it shows a list of game types and existing combat environments used in this game mode.

The list of weapons crafted by the USNC, Covenant, and ancient Forerunners can be found under the Weapons section. Furthermore, the Armor section shows the different types of armor, its abilities, support upgrade, and tactical packages. The armors were aesthetically designed to serve Spartan’s combat needs.

In case a gamer doesn’t know where to look for information, just head on to the Index section. It will show a list of details found on the interactive guide, and it is outlined based on categories.

More About Halo 4

The upcoming game from 343 Industries has five game modes: Campaign, War Games, Spartan Ops, Forge, and Theater.

Halo 4 is set when the humanity finally found their victory in 30 years of war with the Covenant. It was the Spartan super-soldier Master Chief and his AI Cortana who put an end to the Covenant, the Flood, as well as the threat of the Halo Array on a remote installation known as the Ark.

Now, in the wake of conflict, the Chief and Cortana drift through space aboard the remains of Forward Unto Dawn, slowly approaching a mysterious artificial world they will soon come to call Requiem.

Aside from the Master Chief and Cortana, Halo 4 will also feature other characters such as Captain Del Rio, Commander Lasky and Commander Palmer. Halo 4 will be available worldwide on November 6, while it will land on Japanese gaming stores two days later. The game will be compatible for the Xbox 360.
