It appears that Sony’s PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has gone gold, as one YouTube user, “Mad Skillz”, unboxes his own copy of the game. The game is expected to land on shelves on November 20 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Teaser Trailer

Prior to this, AMOG reported that Sony released their full trailer for the upcoming brawler game. It was initially launched through three separate clips: The Reload, The Arrival and The Aftermath.

The Reload is reminiscent of the company’s “Michael” video, which was released as part of the “Long Live Play” campaign. That’s because the trailer features the same woman seen at the start of the Michael video.

It was followed by The Arrival, which looks to be a series of live action shorts related to the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Lastly was The Aftermath, which shows Sly Cooper’s cane and Sweet Tooth’s blade.

The release of the third video caused many to speculate that the clips have something to do with PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. That’s because Sly Cooper and Sweet Tooth are both characters of the said game. Additionally, the full trailer features Sack Boy of LittleBigPlanet and Kratos of God of War.

Before this, Sony released a private beta of the game for those with PlayStation Plus account. It was also reported that the upcoming PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will allow players to access more characters, arenas and items.

First Downloadable Content Confirmed

In another PlayStation All-Stars news, Sony confirmed that their upcoming brawler game will have a downloadable content available after its release. It will come in the form of additional characters and environments, or stages.

As of the moment, the game features a roster of 20 iconic characters from the company. This includes Nathan Drake, Cole MacGrath, Kratos and Sweet Tooth. However, the game doesn’t only boast Sony-exclusive characters, as Big Daddy from BioShock and Heihachi Mishima from Tekken are also included on the list.

In relation to this, Ubergizmo reported the complete list of characters that are included in the roster. With the first DLC already confirmed, players can expect that more characters will surely become available for Sony’s much-anticipated PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

Gaming website Gamezone also reported that the DLC will include 14 different stages. The stages will be based on an area from each franchise, which will be “invaded” by elements from another title after a certain amount of time.
