Just six months after its predecessor hits the market, Apple released the iPad 4 last October. The company’s latest tablet features A6X processor, FaceTime HD camera, and Lightning Connection port. Its entry level 16 GB Wi-Fi-only model is priced at $499, while its cellular-capable counterpart costs $629.
Aside from the fourth-generation iPad, Apple also released their iPad Mini. This 7-inch tablet boasts an A5 chip, FaceTime HD camera, 5-megapixel iSight camera, LTE Connectivity, faster Wi-Fi, and the new Lightning Connector. Its price starts at $329 for a 16 GB Wi-Fi-only model.
New Google Nexus 7
After doing away with their entry-level tablet, Google introduced a new Nexus 7. Its 16 GB version is now available for $199, while its 32 GB kin is tagged as $249. There’s also the 32 GB with HSPA+ mobile compatibility model that costs $299. Potential users can buy it from Google Play starting November 13.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Released last August, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 sports Android 4.0, as 1280 x 800 display, proprietary charging port, and the TouchWiz software. The TouchWiz software enables users to run multiple apps side-by-side on the tablet’s screen. This Android tablet from Samsung is tagged at $499.99.
Amazon Kindle Fire HD
Announced last September, the Amazon Kindle Fire HD offers different options at an aggressive price. It also features a 7-inch screen, as well as 16 GB of storage capacity. Despite being an improvement from its predecessor, the device costs the same at $199.
