Ubisoft Releases Assassin’s Creed Fan Kit for its 5th Anniversary Celebration

After it was released five years ago, Assassin’s Creed has become a global cultural phenomenon. Considered as Ubisoft’s fastest-selling game to date, Assassin’s Creed III has buily a unique vision by integrating exploration of historical events with incredible action and social stealth.

Aside from that, Assassin’s Creed Facebook Page has reached four million. That’s why in order to commemorate these milestones; Ubisoft will be celebrating for the rest of the year. As posted on the game’s official website:

What’s in Store for AC Fans?

Since yesterday, Ubisoft has been augmenting their Facebook Timeline with new events from Assassin’s Creed history. This is to honor two thousand years of history and hidden lore. That’s why fans and gamers alike are invited to check what secrets that Ubisoft will unveil.

Aside from that, the game publisher assembled a 5th Anniversary fan kit, which includes wallpapers, profile photos and cover images for various social networks. The kit contains virtually anything that a gamer needs to show his affiliation with the Assassins.

Lastly, Ubisoft also released a full set of Extended Cut for their Inside Assassin’s Creed III documentary on their YouTube channel.

Alpha Iota Hosts an Assassin’s Creed Marathon

Antelope Valley College’s academic honors society, Alpha Iota, is hosting an Assassin’s Creed marathon since last Sunday. The aim of the gaming marathon is to raise money for Child’s Play charity.

In relation to this, Assassins4Kids is also auctioning a number of AC-related merchandise such as painting and hoodies for the charity event. The group is also dedicated to raising money for Child’s Play charity, an organization that provides kids at Children’s Hospital world wide with toys, books and games.

As of this writing, the group has clocked in 80 hours of gameplay in Assassin’s Creed series, and has raised $1.6 million. Assassins4Kids is streaming the game marathon through December 19.

This is the second year that Alpha Iota has hosted the fund raising event. Last year, the group was able to garner more than $1,400 in donation. See the Assassing’s Creed game marathon below.
