Although Apple’s iPhone 5 is still relatively new in the market, French website Nowhere Else claims that they were able to acquire photos of handset components bound for iPhone 5S and iPhone 6. In relation to this, the online publication speculated that one of the rumored devices will be released in a couple of months.

Upcoming iPhone Models and New Release Schedule

The said components are claimed to be loud speaker modules for the so-called iPhone 5S and iPhone 6. Moreover, the website claims that the images came from a source connected to an Apple supplier.

Although it is out of focus, the pictured components somehow resemble the loud speaker unit from iPhone 5. Still, it is difficult to say if the components are likely to turn up in a future Apple device.

Nowhere Else even contends that the iPhone maker will deviate from its normal release schedule. Instead of launching one iPhone per year, three mobile phones will land on retailer stores this year. Aside from the purported iPhone 5S and iPhone 6, a rumored iPhone Math will also be available this year.

The iPhone 5S will feature incremental improvement than its predecessor, while the iPhone 6 will have a more substantial redesign. However, details on the difference between the two remain scarce. On the other hand, iPhone Math will feature a larger screen that is meant to give Apple a stake at the growing “phablet” sector.

In relation to this, there were speculations that Apple was possibly driven in response to analyst concerns that they should make a cheaper iPhone. That way, they can compete with the emerging market.

Based on the report, additional iPhone models will also come with alterations to the company’s release schedule. It was rumored that one of the devices will be released between March and July of this year, while a second one will be released by the end of 2013.

A New Road for New Apple Devices

If the rumors were to hold true, this is not the first time that images of purported iPhone components were leaked. Prior to this, images of iPad Mini’s front and back panels were posted on the Internet weeks prior to its launch. It also includes photos of the device’s Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth antennas.

The past months have seen rampant rumors about the path that Apple might take for its next-generation smartphones. That is despite the recent versions debuted a few months ago, and that sales continuously outstrip supply.
