It doesn’t matter if you’re drinking beer, wine or cocktails. When you go to recall your night of consumption you’re bound to use a synonym or clever way to describe that you were “drunk.”

Sometimes the synonym or statement is obvious, such as “intoxicated” or “drunk as a skunk.” Then there are the unflattering variations, like “under the weather,” which is the same thing you would say when you’re not feeling well, or “stinko,” which implies that you don’t really smell all that well. In short, there a probably a million different ways around the world that can describe your level of intoxication.
