Earlier this week, Toyota announced in a press release that their 2014 Highlander will make a debut at the New York Auto Show.
Toyota will stage the world debut of the all-new 2014 Highlander mid-size SUV at a press conference at the 2013 New York Auto Show.
The press conference will be held on Wednesday, March 27, at 9:10 AM Easter Time in the Galleria Level Four at the Jacob Javits Center.
Although the automaker did not release any information regarding the next-generation SUV, it is expected to have powertrain options of four-cylinder, six-cylinder and the hybrid. That is in order to keep it in line with the federal fuel-economy mandates.
The 2014 Toyota Highlander is based on the Camry platform, which was redesigned this year. If the upcoming model will follow the footsteps of the new Camry, it is expected that the next-gen SUV will have power steering, refined interior, and standard audio system with 6-inch screen.
