After announcing that they are testing a new look, Pinterest officially rolled out their redesigned online bulletin board last Monday. Although there are no major overhauls on the image-heavy social network, it now features larger images so “you can see more of what you love.”

Discovering More Content on Pinterest

The biggest addition of Pinterest, though, is the subtle tools that can help user discover more content. When clicking on an image, users can see pins from the same board, as well as pins from the same website, without leaving the page they are on.

Additionally, there’s the recommendation feature that shows other items pinned by other users who pinned a particular image. And when a user clicks through a board, they can easily click back without losing their spot.

In relation to this, Pinterest’s lead designer Jason Wilson stated that these new features will be available on iOS and Android soon. The virtual pinboard also welcomes feedback as more users are being invited to see Pinterest’s new look.
