Last Monday, it was revealed that Gearbox Software updated the Xbox 360 version of their Borderlands 2 during the weekend. It provides improved recognition of the installed downloadable content add-ons on the game, making it more compatible between party members. That is regardless of what DLC each player has after update has been applied.

In addition, it will allow Xbox 360 users to have easier time connecting to a party. Not to mention that they will have less chance of losing a connection while playing Borderlands 2.

Last weekend’s update was only delivered to Xbox 360. It is still unknown whether the patch will also be available on the PlayStation 3, PC, and Mac versions of the game. There were also no words as to whether the compatibility update is exclusive to Borderlands 2 on Xbox 360.
