Last Tuesday, US network carrier AT&T announced that they will be expanding their 4G LTE networks to 79 new areas this summer.

More 4G LTE Markets, Greater Data Speeds

In relation to this, eight of those new LTE markets are now 4G-LTE active. This includes Walterboro, South Carolina; Santa Rosa-Petaluma, California; Wilsoon, North Carolina; and Kalamazoo, Michigan.

The remaining markets will see 4G LTE speeds over the course of the said season. Meanwhile, a number of those markets were already receiving 4G data speeds, but AT&T’s network expansion will make it up to 10 times faster than 3G.
