Following the E3 event, it appears that Sony still has a lot in their sleeves for their PlayStation 4. As previously announced, the next-generation gaming console will be announced at the Gamescon 2013. SCEE’s Jim Ryan also said more PS4 games will be announced during the event.
There’s a lot coming. I’m sure you heard from Shu [Yoshida] that he has 30 games in development. 20 of them are going to ship within the first year of the console’s life, and of those 12 are new IP. There’s a lot going on, we need to keep stuff back. We’ve got Gamescon for us Europeans—we need to have something to show at Gamescon, don’t we?
A PlayStation Europe employee, Tony Clark, tweeted almost the same thing.
Gamescom. Coming soon. So many cool things to tell the world. #ps4 #psvita #gc2013
