May Andersen Will Make You Forget the World

May Andersen is a Danish model. She is most known for her work with Victoria’s Secret and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She’s 5’9″ tall, measures a slim 32-24-34, and has a sexy pierced bellybutton.

As a child she wanted to be a singer and took vocal lessons before a chance meeting dramatically altered her career path. A photographer spotted her on a Copenhagen street when she was 13 years old, and convinced her and her parents that she had a good shot at becoming a successful model. The year she turned 18, she relocated to New York.

May was signed by the IMG agency and after initial work in her homeland, the Scandinavian beauty with her striking looks and upbeat personality soon worked in Europe’s elite fashion capitals.¬†Early in her international career, she worked extensively with Italian designers. The list includes such houses as GFF-Gianfranco Ferre, Valentino and Miu Miu, who selected her for its Spring/Summer 1999 campaigns, and BCBG, Capucine Puerari and Prada.

May had representation in Milan, Paris and New York. By this time, outside of Italy, she’s strolled the runways for ready-to-wear collections by such top designers as Alexander McQueen, ¬†Betsey Johnson, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, John Galliano, DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana and Yves Saint Laurent. She also has graced the catwalk for Chanel, Christian Dior and Ocimar Versolato.

2003 saw May graced the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues, the pictures are sizzling hot. She made her second consecutive appearance in the swimsuit edition in 2004, which also marked the 40th anniversary of the annual tradition. May also flew back to Denmark for Scandinavia’s Fashion Week. She also participated in various charitable projects in her homeland.
