Real Life Bad Boys: Celebrities Gone Wrong

We all love to see Steven Segal battle it out in hand to hand combat in the movies or watch Robert De Niro in his Mafia tough guy roles.

But, in real life, these guys are probably your ordinary nice guys and good citizens that really don’t live up to the “tough guy” persona. However, there are other celebrities that have lived up to it in a bad way.

Robert Blakeblake

Remember “Baretta” in 1975? Did you ever think that 30 years later, Baretta himself (Robert Blake) would be standing trial for his own wife’s murder? He was acquitted, but later his wife’s children filed a wrongful death civil suit and they won. Let’s see… lots of money, great defense team, acquittal, and wrongful death ruling in a civil trial – you do the math.

O.J. Simpsonsimpson

Everyone knows about the controversy surrounding the “Juice”. He was tried and acquitted for the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. Though he was acquitted, the Goldmans won a wrongful death civil suit. Again, you do the math. We’ve just recently learned that O.J. has found himself in another pickle involving an armed robbery charge. It looks like the “Juice” is going to be squeezed again.

Vince Vaughnvaughn

Vince Vaughn was arrested for fighting in public. Apparently, he and fellow actor Steve Buscemi got into an altercation in a bar. Buscemi was reportedly stabbed and now has a permanent scar on his cheek. Ironically, this incident happened when they were filming the movie “Domestic Disturbance”. Perhaps they were just getting into character a little too well.

Ryan O’Nealoneal

Actor Ryan O’Neal had a few “Irreconcilable Differences” of his own with his son. As a result of the altercation in 2007, he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and discharge of a firearm.

Al Pacinopacino

Did you know about this one? It was way back in 1961, when Pacino was only 21 years old. He was arrested in Rhode Island for carrying a concealed weapon. He was with three other men who were wearing black masks and gloves at the time that police stopped them. Thing at make you go “Hmmm”.

Kid Rock (Robert Ritchie)kidrock

Even the Waffle House isn’t safe anymore. Late in 2007, Kid Rock was arrested for fighting with a customer in a Waffle House. There goes Southern hospitality!

Joshua Jacksonjoshua

In November 2002, “Pacey” Witter from “Dawson’s Creek” was arrested in North Carolina at a Carolina Hurricanes hockey game when he assaulted a security guard. You have a few on camera love scenes with Katie Holmes and look where it leads!

Cassidy (Barry Reese)cassidy

Rapper “Cassidy” was arrested for a 2005 murder and two attempted murders as a result of the same incident. In this case, his bad boy image is no act.

Lillo Brancato, Jr.brancato

Lillo Brancato, Jr. was arrested for second degree murder of a New York City police officer. It’s ironic that the movie that made him famous, “A Bronx Tale” (1993) ends with his line: “The saddest thing in life is wasted talent, and the choices that you make will shape your life forever. But you can ask anybody from my neighborhood, and they’ll just tell you this is just another Bronx tale.”

Shelley Malilmalil

Here’s our latest celebrity bad boy. On August 11, 2008 Shelley Malil, best known for his role as Haziz in the 2005 film “The 40 Year Old Virgin”, was arrested for attempted murder. He was said to have stabbed his ex-girlfriend, Kendra Beebe over 20 times.

We may put these celebrities at a high regard because they’re in the lime light, but these are some examples of how celebrities are just like everyone else. Not all of them are nice guys or upstanding citizens. Some surprise you with their behavior, while others don’t shock you at all.
