Brooklyn Decker is Drop Dead Gorgeous!

American fashion model best known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, including the cover of the 2010 issue. Brooklyn Decker has been turning heads since 2006 when she made her debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and she continues to make men plunge and made a splash in high-profile campaigns.

Brooklyn was born in Kettering, Ohio. The daughter of medical professionals, she grew up with dreams of one day becoming a veterinarian. She was discovered as a teenager at a mall in Charlotte. She began her modeling career as the face of Mauri Simone, a popular prom dress maker. Brooklyn won the 2003 Model of the Year award at the Connections Model and Talent Convention.

Brooklyn’s rising profile captured the attention of national periodicals and she began posing for Teen Vogue, Seventeen, Elle Girl, Vogue, FHM, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and Spin. She has also modeled for The Gap, Intimissimi and Victoria’s Secret. Brooklyn has appeared in music videos for Jimmy Buffett and the band 3 Doors Down. She is also an avid Tar Heel basketball fan.

In 2005, within two months of moving to New York City, Brooklyn auditioned for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, she was selected to join legendary models like Heidi Klum, Elle MacPherson, Rachel Hunter, and Rebecca Romijn for the magazine’s 2006 edition. Brooklyn was again featured in the 2007 edition, and hosted the 2007 behind-the-scenes television special. On February 8, 2010, David Letterman announced on the Late Show with David Letterman that she had been chosen as the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covermodel.

With Brooklyn’s dabbling in acting, you can now catch her onscreen, with appearances on Ugly Betty, Chuck, Royal Pains, and The Dan Patrick Show. Brooklyn won Esquire magazine’s 2010 “Sexiest Woman Alive” bracket challenge.
