Irina Shayk Knows How to Make You Want it

Irina Shayk is a Russian model known for her 2007 through 2010 appearances in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues. She starred in a photo story for the song single “Diamond Girl” produced by Ryan Leslie in 2008.

Irina Shayk was born on January 6, 1986 in Russia as Irina Shaykhlislamova. She was discovered in 2004 at the age of 18 by scout Guia Jikidze and recommended her to pursue a career as a model.

Irina has appeared on the covers of magazines, such as Annabelle, Jalouse, Bolero GQ Spain, Elle Spain, GQ South Africa, Ocean Drive, Woman Spain and Paris Capital. She debuted in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and has appeared in each annual edition since.

She worked with photographers like Pamela Hanson, Steve Erle, Riccardo Tinelli, Rennio Maifredi, and Raphael Mazucco, and shooting in locations such as St. Petersburg, Naples Grenada and Chile. Irina has done commercial advertisements for Intimissimi, Lacoste and Martini.

Irina ranked 18th in the “Top 20 Sexiest Models” list on Models.com and 1st in the “50 Hottest Russian Women” list by Complex magazine. Glamour Spain gave her the “Best International Model of 2010” award.

Irina is the official ambassador for Pomogi charity in Russia. She and her sister helped rebuild the children’s ward of the local hospital, and now Irina raises money on behalf of a Russian charity, Pomogi, which provides care to sick children.
