The tips and positions of the ancient Hindu text have been practiced for centuries. Even though many things regarding sex have changed, the basic equipment is still there, which is why people still use the Kama Sutra. The book describes 64 sexual acts (if you want to check them out go here) so there should always be some new and exciting moves for you to experiment with. However, for the sake of time, here are some of the best tips and ideas from the Kama Sutra to at least get you started.

Preparing for Sex

The Kama Sutra isn’t just about having sex, rolling over and passing out. There are actually some preparations to do before things get really heated up.

Start off with making sure that you have a clean mouth (brushing your teeth, flossing, mouthwash, etc.). This will ensure that your lovemaking will be more positive. Follow that up with taking a bath or shower together. Besides getting clean, which is important to Hindu tradition, it’s also a great sensual and relaxing experience.

You’ll also want to set the mood with anything from incense, perfuming your skin, flowers, wine or champagne, silk or satin, soft light, and oils and lotions.

Standing with your back against the edge of the bed (or even the washer or dryer), pick up your lady with your hands cradling her bottom and the backs of her thighs. She should wrap her legs around your waist (her feet should be placed on the on the bed for support) and her arms around your neck and shoulders. As your penis enters her, she should hang suspended from your, bouncing up and down with the help of your arms.

Mover and Shaker

With your lady lying facedown on top of a washing machine, her feet flat on the floor (if she’s short, try having her stand on a phone book).  Stand facing her behind. With your partner on all fours and your knees at the edge of the bed, you, the tiger, stand behind her, your feet hip-width apart. While you spreads your legs on either side of hers, she keeps her knees together to narrow her vaginal canal, causing it to feel much snugger around your penis as you thrust.
