Natalie Portman, A Fallen Angel

Who doesn’t know the little girl who played the role of Mathilda in Leon (1994) and the gorgeous Queen Amidala in Star Wars prequel trilogy? That’s no other than, Natalie Portman. She is one of the most beautiful faces in show business. Born on June 9, 1981 in Jerusalem, Israel. Her father is an Israeli doctor and her mother is an American homemaker.

Natalie is the only child. She left Israel for United States when she was three. She is fluent for both languages, Hebrew and English. At age 11, she was discovered by an agent in a pizza parlor. Natalie was pushed to have a career in modeling but preferred acting. She chooses roles that are positive for she likes to be a good role model for girls.

This petite young actress completed a bachelor’s degree at Psychology in Harvard College. She has gained academic achievements that allow her to attend Harvard. Natalie is also trained in ballet, jazz and tap dancing. She has been a vegetarian since the age of 8 and has been an advocate for animal rights and environmental issues. Natalie has her own brand of vegan footwear.
