Salma Hayek Can Make Your World Go Round

If there’s a synonym for “super hot” that would be no other than Salma Hayek. Because of her prominent Mexican figure, Salma considered it as one of her best asset. She was born on September 2, 1966 in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico.

Salma came from a wealthy family whose father is a Lebanese-Mexican businessman and an opera singer and talent scout mother. She was diagnosed with dyslexia. She went to a convent school, but was soon expelled due to her behavioral problems. Salma dropped out of her college education to pursue acting. As a child, Salma always wanted to become an actress.

She appeared in a telenovela and a film in Mexico. Salma got nominated for her great performance. She then landed to Hollywood to study acting. She got a role in Desperado (1995) opposite Antonio Banderas. She then appeared in some films including Fools Rush In, From Dusk Till Dawn, Wild Wild West, Dogma, Traffic and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Salma later founded a film production company named Ventanarosa. She was nominated for Best Actress Academy Award her role as Frida Kahlo in the film Frida.

Salma had a relationship with actors Edward Norton and Josh Lucas. She is a good friend of Penelope Cruz, Ashley Judd and Valeria Golina. She gave birth to daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault on 2007 in Los Angeles, California. She married PPR CEO Francois-Henri Pinault in 2009.
