With the announcement of HTC One fast approaching, the company has posted a countdown timer on their official website. The clock is ticking away the seconds and minutes until the February 19 launch of HTC One, also known as HTC M7. Whenever the last digit of the time ticks to “1,” it shows a brief glimpse of the upcoming device.
What HTC One Looks Like
Although nothing of a big deal can be seen from the short and sharp flashes, the glimpse focuses on the rear-facing camera. The rear-facing camera is said to introduce new Ultrapixel technology.
The brief image preview also shows nice curving edges of the white handset, the prominent HTC logo, and a white band that runs from edge to edge. In addition, the much-awaited HTC One will succeed the HTC One X+.
Prior to this, an image—which claims to be the HTC One—was leaked recently. The smartphone on the photo happens to be white and sports the same beveled edge shown in the countdown timer’s flashed preview.
In relation to this, there were rumors that the upcoming handset will feature 4.7-inch Full HD screen, 13-megapixel camera, and a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor.
HTC M4 and G2
Aside from HTC One, there were also claims that HTC will launch two phones dubbed as M4 and G2. The HTC M4 will have a 4.3-inch display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, while the HTC G2 will ship with 3.5-inch display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
