Known for her large eyes, long eyelashes, and thin build, Twiggy became the first prominent teenage model of the 20th century at the age of 16. Twiggy also had her shot being an English actress and singer. She was branded the “The Face of 1966” by the Daily Express and elected British Woman of the Year. A 20th century fashion icon, Twiggy had modeled in France, Japan, the U.S., and ultimately, around the world. Her fame had spread worldwide that others charged her of popularizing eating disorders because of her iconic look.

After modeling, Twiggy continued to delight on a successful career as a screen, stage, and television actress. She had her own series, Twiggy’s People, and had an appearance as a judge on the reality show America’s Next Top Model. In 1998, her autobiography, Twiggy in Black and White, entered the bestseller lists. She has modeled for Marks and Spencer since 2005.
